Tanzania
Tanzania is undoubtedly Africa's bucket list country, most famous for the Wildebeest migration. Its safari offerings and breathtaking scenery are complemented by an abundant cultural diversity, made up of some 120 tribes and ethnic groups.
The Serengeti, Tarangire National Park, Lake Manyara and the Ngorongoro Crater are covered in the popular Northern Safari Circuit. If time allows, combine this with a hop over to the remote and quiet Rubondo Island in Lake Victoria to go chimp trekking.
The lesser known Southern Safari Circuit promises a raw, untamed wilderness experience like no other, with Ruaha and Nyerere National Parks as its focal points, the recommended choice if you prefer to have a crowd-free safari or an interest in conservation work.
Keen for a few days on the beach? Depending on the safari circuit you choose and your preferences, you can visit one of the many islands. Zanzibar is renowned for its luxury resorts, spices and Stone Town. Mafia Island boasts spectacular diving sites and Fanjove Island is an excellent choice for a private island experience after a safari in the south of the country.
The abundance of accommodation options and the logistics to get around Tanzania can be overwhelming, but there is no need to worry. We book and arrange the perfect journey to suit your preferences and budget.
Best time to travel: July - October and January - February.
